The countdown is on until the launch of The Verindon Alliance. Just a few days now and you will be able to buy your very own copy! Owing to the coronavirus lockdown, I can’t do a physical launch this time, so I will be doing one on my Facebook author page, which you can see here. Preparing for a book release in a pandemic

When I realised I would finally have another new full-length novel released in 2020 after more than three years, I was excited. I anticipated a round of launches, signings and events, delighted to have a new book to share with everyone.I never imagined all those plans would be scuttled by a pandemic. New book next year!

Hooray! I’m happy to finally be able to announce that I have signed a new contract with Wombat Books and will have a new full-length novel released in the middle of next year! At the moment it’s called The Verindon Alliance. Being hopeless with book titles, I thank those at the Sci-Fi Roundtable on Facebook for helping me with it. As it’s been a while since I’ve had a new book released, I’d forgotten just how much needs to be done in the lead-up to it. Preparing for a new book is a little like preparing for a new baby. There are a lot of things that must be done prior to the book’s arrival. It’s best to approach reviewers as early as possible. If any advertising is planned, that also needs to be booked in advance.
