There’s so much going on at the moment, which is great. I like to be busy. :-)
After Oz ComicCon in Brisbane in September, which we really enjoyed, I started work at a new round of edits on Keeper of the Archives, my new book, which will be out in July 2024. I’m still working on it and think it’s nearly ready to send back to my publisher. I have also been editing a short story I wrote for Diverging Worlds, a short story anthology I’m editing with Emily Larkin. We’ve started editing some stories from other authors for the anthology and have been impressed by the submissions.
I’m also doing quite a bit of editing for other people at the moment. For those of you who don’t know, I am a professional editor as well as an author. You can read more about my editing on my website, here. I enjoy seeing what other people are writing, especially considering the diverse manuscripts I work on. I have recently edited a post-apocalyptic thriller, some children’s early readers and some song lyrics.
I have two events coming up in November – a bookfest in Bethania, which you can read about here, and also Brisbane Supanova. Tickets are already available. You can buy them here.
Then it will be Christmas before we know it and another year will be gone. I’m looking forward to 2024!
