Lynne Stringer – Author & Editor

Up until now, this year has been a quiet one as far as author opportunities go, even after the release of Once Confronted in late 2016. So I went looking for opportunities and thankfully I’ve found some. 🙂

I find that sometimes an author has to keep her nose to the ground when sniffing out new ideas for marketing, and fellow authors can be a great help with that. It was through two other authors that I found some US radio shows that are happy to interview authors from all over the world. I was interviewed by one a couple of weeks ago, with the interview scheduled to air on 16th September. I’m going to record another one next weekend. I’ll let you know when that one comes out.

Also, much to my excitement, I’ll be holding a stall at this year’s Brisbane Comic Con at the end of September. Two fellow authors, Jeanette O’Hagan and Adele Jones, will be there with me. These events are always much more fun if you have company so I’m looking forward to sharing it with them and hopefully selling a few copies.

I’ve also got a few other promotional opportunities coming up in October and I’m looking forward to them as well. Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep the momentum going in November and in the lead-up to Christmas.

But it does seem to be feast or famine where authors are concerned. One minute I’m stressing about having no opportunities, the next, I’m running around trying to fit them all in. Having said that, it’s a change I welcome. 🙂

If you’d like to keep up on all these events please like my Facebook author page here. It’s the quickest way to find out what’s happening.

  1. Comic Con should be a blast. Hope Jason Mamoa and Jenna Coleman buy your books. I’ll have to get there one of these years. Good luck with it all. 🙂

  2. Well done for taking a topsy-turvy ride in your stride. Hope the opportunities bring you lots and fun, sales and more opportunities.
