Lynne Stringer – Author & Editor

We’ve reached the Christmas season once more in what’s been another difficult year for most.

On a personal level, this year has been a hard one for me, but as far as my writing goes, it’s been encouraging. Although a couple of events were cancelled due to COVID, I still had five major ones over the course of the year, much better than in 2020. I also signed a contract with my publisher for the publication of The Verindon Conspiracy, my next book, which will be out in 2022. It takes place about 10 years after the epilogue in The Reign (Verindon #3). I’m looking forward to its release and I think fans of the trilogy will enjoy it, as you’ll get to see some old friends again.

I’ve also been writing a new manuscript called Keeper of the Archives. It’s still in its early stages and I’m not sure yet if it’s going to work as the story has presented some challenges, but hopefully I’ll be able to sort them out next year. Even if I can’t, I’ve enjoyed getting to know the characters and inhabiting that world for a while, which is always an exciting part for me.

I’m sure 2022 will have its ups and downs, just as 2021 has, but hopefully more ups and downs.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all my readers and editing clients a merry Christmas, happy holidays and happy new year. God bless.
